about southpaw.

A left-handed individual may be known as a southpaw, particularly in a sports context. It is widely accepted that the term originated in the United States, in the game of baseball. Ballparks are often designed so that batters are facing east, so that the afternoon or evening sun does not shine in their eyes. This means that left-handed pitchers are throwing with their south-side arm.

There are endless gorgeous locations to photograph in Portland.

Southpaw Pictures is available for hire for all of your photography needs as well as design projects such as logos, vehicle wraps, fliers, album covers, holiday cards, and invitations.

This Southpaw has delved into the recycled arts.

Two projects are ongoing.

Duct Tape Art is the use of colored Duct Tape trimmed with a hobby knife on a up-cycled home window pane saved from the landfill. These pieces are unique art and are a great addition to any house or man/woman cave. Choose from current stock or commission a custom piece.

Recycled skateboard jewelry is a second art project by southpaw. These one of a kind pieces can be found at gift shops, Cal Skate and Made in Oregon stores around the Portland area. With a product line including earrings, necklaces, belt buckles and key chains you are sure to fin something for that special someone.

Cheers!
